Some No-Bull proactice good news about recycling from Purina

Purina's Friskies Cat Food is promoting a pro-recycle campaign called, "Together We Can," with its aluminum cans. According to them if one recycles one 5.5 oz. aluminum can it saves enough energy to power one 60 watt light bulb for three hours. The recycled aluminum saves 95% of the energy used to make aluminum cans from virgin materials. The below image is a scanned promo insert found attached to a can of Friskies Cat Food. Friskies is a Trademark of Purina; also a registered trade name.
